Logistics

ScicomP 15 and SP-XXL will be held at the North Campus of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). The campus is the North part of Barcelona and is easily accessible via public transportation: subway, bus, and rail.

Meeting Rooms

ScicomP 15/SP-XXL will be held at the North Campus of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). ScicomP and SP-XXL will use two meeting rooms in Building B3 (see map below).

Coffee breaks will be in front of the Sala Multimedia. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria just across the meeting rooms in building B4. The Mare Nostrum computer is in the building labeled TG. The student housing "Residencia Torre Girona" is labeled RES on the right border of the map. The closest metro stations are marked with a green L3.

Air
The Barcelona airport is 12 km from the city. Transportation from the airport is provided by taxi, bus, train, and subway. See below and more info.
Taxi from Airport
In front of every terminal you will find a taxi stand. If a taxi is available, it will show a green light with the text "LIBRE" or "LLIURE" (i.e., "AVAILABLE"). The approximate travel price to the meeting hotels is 30-35€.
Aerobus/Subway from AirportYou can ride the "Aerobus" from the airport to the "Plaza de Catalunya," where the Metro (subway or tube) can take you to the "Palau Reial" station, which is very near the ScicomP meeting rooms. The station is on Avinguda Diagonal.
