Programming for Performance with IBM Compilers and Libraries

This talk will be a discussion of recent developments on the XL compiler suite, with a focus on the latest compiler releases, featuring support for the POWER7 processor. We will discuss the new features of these compilers that enable exploitation of specific POWER7 features, and also other optimization and productivity enhancements that apply to older systems as well. We will also include a brief discussion of recent enhancements to the MASS accelerated math libraries.
