Technical Content of the Meeting

The meeting will consist of presentations by both IBM staff and SP users, as well as tutorials by IBM staff and vendors.
Abstracts for all the Tutorials and Presentations will be linked here.

One day of the meeting (date to be announced) will be dedicated to tutorials.

The regular sessions will be held during the week, August 19 - 23. A draft schedule is shown below, but is subject to change.

Those wishing to propose a talk or tutorial for this meeting should submit an abstract here.

Social Event

Scicomp attendees are invited to take a tour of the Napa Valley on the Wine Train ( more information ). The group will depart Wednesday afternoon and return Wednesday evening. All transportation and meals will be provided.
 4:00 Buses depart from hotel
 5:30 Meet at Napa Station for group check-in
 6:00 Board train
 6:30 Train departs for tour
 9:30 Train returns to Napa Station
 9:45 Head count and Buses return to Berkeley
11:00 Arrive back at hotel
Guests and family members of attendees are welcome to attend ($75 surcharge per guest, to be collected with registration fees). Try to plan ahead as additional tickets may not be available at the time of the meeting.
